A Dawson Springs man was charged with assaulting his girlfriend on South Campbell Street in Hopkinsville Tuesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 39-year-old Jeffrey Henderson got mad at his girlfriend, pushed her off a bike, punched her in the stomach, and choked her.
He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault and second-degree strangulation.
