A traffic stop on Westend Street in Cadiz led to drug charges for a Cadiz man Sunday afternoon.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Jeremy Denson for disregarding a stop sign and during the stop, the odor of marijuana was coming from the vehicle.
After a search of the vehicle, 14 hydrocodone pills, and marijuana were reportedly found along with four more pills in a cigarette pack.
Denson was arrested and charged with disregarding a stop sign, possession of marijuana, and trafficking opiates.
