An investigation in Trigg County led to drug trafficking charges for a Hopkinsville man Saturday night.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say they obtained information of a drug transaction at a gas station on Hopkinsville Road in Trigg County and located 51-year-old Christopher Brown, who was found to have a bag of meth in the floorboard and several fentanyl pills in a center console.
He reportedly claimed he was paid to drop off drugs at the gas station. Brown was arrested and charged with trafficking meth and fentanyl.
