Donald Dale “Don” Hall, Jr., age 68, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Murray Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.
Born on October 29, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of Donald Dale Hall, Sr. and Henrietta Hall.
Don married the love of his life, Cheryl White Hall, on January 3, 1975. Together, they built a life filled with adventure and laughter. Their journey took them to Anchorage, Alaska, where Don served as a warehouse manager for Alaska Industrial Hardware (AIH) for over 20 years. After retiring to Cadiz in 2012 with Cheryl, he continued to stay busy by working at D&W Fine Pack and later at Lowe’s in Hopkinsville.
Don held an FCC license and enjoyed amateur radio. He was an avid Notre Dame football and basketball fan and looked forward to game days. He loved spending time outdoors and especially enjoyed camping and traveling with Cheryl.
Don leaves behind his devoted wife of 50 years, Cheryl White Hall, who stood by his side through all of life’s adventures.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brothers and their wives, Steve & Shannon Hall of Pinetop, AZ, Tom & Katie Stluka of Beecher, IL, and Mike & Nancy Stluka of New Lenox, IL; as well as brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Scott & Carrie White of Beecher, IL, Barbara & Randy Teske of Lexington, TN, Melinda & Tom Armijo of Ramsey, MN, and Andrea & Alan Kampe of Lowell, IN; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Clifford Stluka; and his parents-in-law, George & Darlene White.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
