A building was severely damaged in a fire on West 15th Street near the intersection of North Drive on Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Firefighter Terry Cansler says the building is used as a shop to work on vehicles and was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
The owner had been working in the shop and left, but returned to it on fire.
The fire was quickly extinguished, and no one was injured.
