
A Hopkinsville man and a Murray woman were charged after they were stopped in a stolen vehicle on Richard Street in Hopkinsville Friday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say the 2002 Ford Mustang was reported stolen from a home on Talbert Drive Wednesday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they located the vehicle on Richard Street Friday and made a traffic stop leading to the arrest of 59-year-old Christopher Goode and 43-year-old Stephanie Rogers.
The car was reportedly returned to the owner and Goode and Rogers claimed to have bought the car from someone else.
Goode and Rogers were arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.
