The Bluegrass Splash Family Aquatic Center in Hopkinsville will be closed this weekend following the discovery of a water leak.
City officials say the issue was detected Thursday evening, and out of caution for guest safety, the facility will remain closed on Saturday, August 23, and Sunday, August 24, while repairs are made. Maintenance crews are already working to fix the problem and restore operations.
The aquatic center is expected to reopen for its final weekend of the season, running Saturday, August 30 through Labor Day on Monday, September 1.
