
A traffic stop on East 21st Street in Hopkinsville led to drug charges for a Hopkinsville man Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 46-year-old Kenneth Lancaster for a traffic violation while riding a small motorbike, and he tried to run away from them but was quickly apprehended.
He was reportedly found to have meth in his possession. While attempting to run from law enforcement, he reportedly fell down and hit his head on the pavement.
Lancaster was arrested and charged with possession of meth third or more offense, tampering with physical evidence, resisting arrest, third-degree fleeing or evading police, failure to or improper signal, and all-terrain vehicle violations.
