A Hopkinsville man was charged with burglary after he was stopped on a stolen riding mower on Robinson Avenue in Cerulean Monday afternoon.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called for 50-year-old Samuel Sivils, who was riding around on a stolen riding mower and knocking on doors.
After further investigation, it was reportedly found that he had forced the front door open to a home, rearranged items in a bedroom, and possibly slept in the bed.
Sivils was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary and theft by unlawful taking.
