A warrant arrest on Farmers Lane in Trigg County led to drug charges Monday afternoon.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say they went with probation and parole to the home of 65-year-old Rexford Music to locate 40-year-old Justin Evans, who had active warrants for second-degree assault, probation violation, third-degree terroristic threatening, and menacing.
Music reportedly opened the door after a few times of being told to come outside, then would not answer questions about Evans being in the home right away.
Deputies say Evans was located inside the home along with a large bag of suspected meth, a glass pipe, and a digital scale.
The drugs were reportedly found in Music’s room. Evans was taken into custody on his active warrants.
Music was arrested and charged with possession of meth second offense and second-degree hindering prosecution or apprehension.
