A man was charged with robbery after pushing a Walmart employee Friday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called for 49-year-old Jason Durham, who was switching tags on items and pushed an employee before fleeing the store.

He was reportedly located on Fort Campbell Boulevard, and the items taken, valued at $463, were found behind Office Max.

Durham was arrested and charged with second-degree robbery, public intoxication, and tampering with physical evidence. Police say he told deputies at the jail he was coming down off fentanyl.
