One of the biggest traditions at the annual Trigg County Country Ham Festival is having a popular country music artist perform on Saturday night to close out the event.
That will be no different this year, as Bryan White will be coming to town Saturday, October 11th.
White had six #1 country hits in the mid to late 1990s, including “Someone Else’s Star,” “Rebecca Lynn,” “I’m Not Supposed to Love You Anymore,” “So Much for Pretending,” “Sittin’ on Go,” and “Love Is the Right Place.”
He also sang on Shania Twain’s “From This Moment On,” a major crossover hit in 1999.
Trigg County Tourism Director Beth Sumner said the local connection to Shane and Kelly Putty helped bring White to perform at the festival.
Sumner added that country fans of all ages will enjoy the show.
Local group Rewind will open for White.
As previously reported by Your News Edge, the band Entice will perform on the main stage near the Farmers Market pavilion at 7:00 PM on Friday, October 10th.
A new thing this year – some food vendors will be set up near the main stage.
