A stolen vehicle in Crofton led to an investigation involving several counties in Kentucky on Sunday morning.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they are investigating a vehicle stolen on East Princeton Street that was found along with a stolen gun from Flowers Road in Marshall County Sunday morning.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say the gun was taken out of a vehicle on Flowers Road, and a second vehicle was found wrecked after an attempt to take that vehicle as well.

A vehicle that was reported stolen in LaRue County was also recovered in a yard on Kentucky 800 near Flowers Road, Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say, adding the thefts and the recovered vehicle are believed to be connected to a group of juveniles from LaRue County.

LaRue County Sheriff’s Office released a statement that says they had two separate incidents of runaway juveniles from Life Connection, which is a child care institution.

Two of the juveniles were captured, LaRue County Sheriff’s deputies say, adding that two others are believed to be connected to a stolen vehicle and an attempted stolen vehicle in the area of Magnolia, where the suspects pointed a gun at the owner and fired shots at the home after telling the owner to get back inside the home.

The two juveniles located in Marshall County with the stolen vehicle from Crofton are believed to be the same juveniles from LaRue County, but the Investigation is still ongoing.
