Softball teams and supporters came together Saturday night to support special olympics during the annual softball game at the Trigg County Recreation Complex.
After suffering defeat during the first game in 2024, the the Hambone Hitters representing the City of Cadiz had a big night Saturday as they scored 21 runs to outdistanced the Trigg County softball team who scored nine.
Money raised by the annual softball game is donated to the Trigg County Special Olympics program. Officials have not released the total funds raised by the softball game this year.
