Caldwell County showed improvement, despite a loss at Apollo High School in Owensboro in football scrimmage action Friday night. The Tigers led 17-7 before tiring late and seeing the Eagles come back to claim a 28-17 victory.

Friday night’s scrimmage between Todd County Central and Clinton County was originally scheduled to be four, 10-minute quarters. It ended after three with the Rebels dropping a 50-0 decision to the Bulldogs. Offensively, the Rebels started strong.
