A Hopkinsville man was charged, and a stolen vehicle was recovered in a traffic stop on Pembroke Road Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they were alerted to a stolen vehicle in the area by city cameras and stopped the vehicle driven by 33-year-old Robbie Carneal on Pembroke Road.
The 2008 Mercedes-Benz C300 was recovered, and Carneal claimed he borrowed the vehicle from a family member, but the names he gave as the owner did not match.
He was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property and possession of marijuana.
