A Hopkinsville man was charged with 344 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor on Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they received tips that a Google account owned by 66-year-old Steve Ervin had 344 files of child pornography and located him in a parking lot on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
Police say he admitted to owning the account and claimed he collected it because of his urges.
Ervin is charged with 344 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
