A man was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Princeton Road near Blackhawk Road in Trigg County Wednesday afternoon.
Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree says a tractor-trailer was on Princeton Road when the driver lost control in a curve and ran off the road before coming back into the road, blocking both lanes.
The driver was taken by ambulance to Trigg County Hospital for back pain.
Acree says speed was a factor in the crash, adding the driver said an animal was in the roadway as well.
