A man was charged with possession of drugs after law enforcement stopped to check on him in a parking lot on West 7th Street Tuesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped to check on 44-year-old Gary Douthitt due to him sweating profusely and being unable to stand.
He reportedly claimed he just picked up a vape, and law enforcement found it to have suspected meth inside it, along with a meth pipe in his bag.
Douthitt was arrested and charged with possession of meth third or more offenses, and public intoxication.
