A brush fire on Christian Quarry Road in Hopkinsville led to a theft investigation Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Firefighters say they were called just before 4 am for a large brush fire and found someone had lit the brush on fire that was being cleared in that area.
Hopkinsville Police say they were then called for a sign, saws, an axe, and two hats that were stolen from the same area.
No arrest has been made, but the report lists the charges as theft and second-degree criminal mischief.
