Christine Marie Lane, age 57, of Cadiz, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home that morning from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Christine was born in Weymouth, MA, on July 4, 1968, the daughter of the late Jesse “Tinker” Dossett, Sr. and Helen “Juanita” Gotel Dossett. She worked as a RN for Cumberland Hall and was of the Christian Faith. Christine was an avid lover of the outdoors. She loved being in nature, fishing, being on the water, and watching birds and butterflies. She served others with compassion for over 30 years through her career as a nurse. She was known for her kindness and gentle nature and left a lasting impression on everyone she came across.
Survivors include her daughters, Carlie Lane Turner and her husband Thomas of Hopkinsville, Destiny Lane of Hopkinsville; her brother, Jesse Dossett Jr. of Hopkinsville; and her granddaughter, Tahani Tandy.
