A drug investigation on Cunningham Avenue in Cadiz led to the arrest of a Cadiz woman and an Oak Grove woman Friday morning.

Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say the investigation led them to get a search warrant for the home, where they found a bag owned by 36-year-old Emily Stewart containing Xanax, which is not prescribed to her.

Also inside the home, deputies say 35-year-old Erin Caudel was found to have smoking pipes, marijuana, and a crystal substance believed to be meth.

Caudel was arrested and charged with possession of meth and marijuana. Stewart was cited to court on charges of third-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
