A monthly tradition for Trigg County’s Genesis Express is moving up the road this Friday.
President George Radford told Your News Edge that their monthly BBQ fundraiser will occur on their new property at 205 Jefferson Street.
Radford said the menu for the monthly BBQ fundraiser includes pork, mutton, chicken, ribs, and their famous burgoo.
Preorders are being accepted by calling or texting Radford at (270) 871-1344. Food will be ready after 10:30 AM on Friday.
Radford added that you can tour the new community center while picking up your order.
Founded in 1987, Genesis Express, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to helping the youth, elderly, and needy in the community. They’ve recently received support from the Tennessee Valley Authority, along with numerous community members, churches, and businesses.
