Raymond R. Bush, age 94, of Cadiz, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, August 1, 2025, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home, and burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday, August 1, 2025. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mr. Bush was born in Cadiz, KY, on July 18, 1931, the son of the late Whitney L. and Maggie Tresch Bush. Raymond was a school bus driver for over 14 years for the Christian County School System; he also worked in maintenance for Fort Campbell and Christopher Trailer Park. Raymond was a member of Wallonia Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Myria Wallace Adams Bush; his son, Dale Bush; his son-in-law, Dave Powers; his brothers, Chester, Lynn, and Gary Bush; his sisters, Lorene Mason, Evelyn Mason, Bessie Taylor, and Elsie Littlefield.
Survivors include his daughter, Rachel Powers of Crofton; his brother Joe (Joyce) Bush of Cerulean; his sister, Donna Bush of Wisconsin; five grandchildren, Chris (Chantale) Bush, Amanda Bush (Waylon) Cowan, Josh (Sheena) Adams, Ashley Adams (Justin) Reynolds, and Austin (Alexandra) Calhoun; and nine great grandchildren.
