A traffic stop in Oak Grove in January led to drug charges for a Trenton woman Friday.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say on January 11th 44-year-old Katherine Dixon was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation and during the stop, she was found to have 1 gram of meth, 2 grams of a heroin fentanyl mix, 1 gram of fentanyl, and a needle.

After a search of her Days Inn room, around 100 needles were reportedly found. Deputies say the investigation led to a warrant for her arrest on charges of possession of heroin, meth, and fentanyl. She was located Friday and arrested.
