Keith Blue, Sr., 82, of Cerulean

Keith LeRoy Blue, Sr., age 82 of Cerulean, passed away on Saturday, July 12th at the Princeton Nursing & Rehab in Princeton, Kentucky of natural causes.

Keith was born November 12, 1942, in Waucoma, Iowa, son of the late Eddie Vargo Blue and Deva Della Sybert Blue.

Keith was a veteran who served in the US Marine Corps and was a member of Serenity Temple in St. Charles, Kentucky. He was a man of many talents and loyal to those he befriended. He worked hard much of his life and considered “bringing home the bacon” to be his primary contribution to his marriage. He will be missed by all who loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Don Blue, Dick Blue, and Al Blue, and a sister, Edna Wickham. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Nancy A. Blue of Cerulean; two sons, Keith LeRoy Blue, Jr. of Dawson Springs and David Blue; three daughters, Bonnie Jean Croft (Chris) of Princeton, Beverly Diane Dowdy (Rodney) of Virginia and Brenda Lynn Blue of Princeton; one brother, Tuffy Blue of Waucoma, Iowa; one sister, Sue Howe (Louis) of Iowa; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

There will be a Memorial Service on Wednesday, July 30th at 1:00 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville with Bro. Ron LaFon officiating. After the service, everyone is invited to meet at the Jasmine Buffet in Hopkinsville at 2:00 for a meal.
