A Hopkinsville man was charged with drug possession and public intoxication on East 4th Street in Hopkinsville Saturday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 38-year-old Lavardis Radford called law enforcement angry over a fight with his girlfriend and being kicked out.
He was reportedly located on East 4th Street yelling at a woman at the senior living home over the argument.
Police say he stated he had been drinking vodka, and after being arrested, he was found to have a pill that tested positive for fentanyl, but claimed the pants he had on were his cousin’s and not his.
Radford was arrested and charged with possession of fentanyl, public intoxication, alcohol intoxication in a public place, and second-degree disorderly conduct.
