Candace Burke Agate, of Pembroke, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025, at her home of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life to be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the funeral home. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Agate was born on March 22, 1974, in Mexico, Missouri, the daughter of the late Nancy Carol Scillian King. Candace was an RN and Case Manager for Arch Care.
She is survived by her husband of 16 years, David Agate of Pembroke; her sons, Gavin Stevenson of Hopkinsville, and Jackson Agate of Pembroke; her daughters, Cady Hinton (Jacob) of Hopkinsville, Cassidy Coleman (Kendall) of Hopkinsville, Kenady Stevenson of Hopkinsville, and Ava Agate of Pembroke; her brother, Steven Futrell of Hopkinsville; and six grandchildren.
