A short pursuit in Hopkinsville on US 68 led to several charges for a Christian County man on Sunday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Elvin Garcia for reckless driving near Airport Road, and he pulled into the gas station and hit a vehicle.
After hitting a vehicle, he reportedly fled, turning onto Otis Circle, exiting the vehicle, and running into a home.
Deputies say he was found inside the home, then arrested and charged with no operator’s license, DUI, reckless driving, no insurance, leaving the scene of an accident, and first- and second-degree fleeing or evading police.
