A wreck on Interstate 169 in Crofton killed a woman and injured a man Sunday afternoon.
Kentucky State Police say a car was northbound when the driver stopped to change her tire and she was hit by a second car while she was outside of the vehicle.
The crash sent the second car off the road and killed the driver changing the tire.
A male passenger in the car with the flat tire was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for treatment. The Interstate northbound will remain blocked until around 5 pm as the crash is reconstructed.
