A Hopkinsville woman reported someone broke into her home on Glass Lane in Hopkinsville on Wednesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say the man with whom she has a past relationship with entered the home and broke her bedroom door, but she was able to exit the home with her child and get to her vehicle.
The man then reportedly damaged her vehicle as she called for law enforcement.
No arrest has been made, but the report lists the charges as second-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief.
