An investigation into several items that were stolen on Country Club Lane led to several charges for a Hopkinsville man Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for 49-year-old Curry Hopper, who was caught by a surveillance camera on a nearby business taking two mowers, a weed eater, and a trailer from the property, and he was located on Buckner Drive at his mother’s home with the stolen property.
He reportedly claimed he was scrapping and thought the items were scrap. After being arrested, he was reportedly found to have suspected meth and marijuana on him.
Hopper is charged with theft by unlawful taking, possession of meth and marijuana.
