Two dogs that were found in Oak Grove in poor health have led to an investigation on Thursday afternoon.
Oak Grove Police say the two dogs were brought to them after being abandoned in the city and are in bad health, with one dying shortly after due to possible extreme neglect.
The animal shelter is currently at capacity, Police say, adding we want to assure the community that we have access to additional resources for families needing to rehome their pets.
