A Hopkinsville woman was charged with fleeing from law enforcement after a disturbance at Village Square Apartments on South Main Street Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 29-year-old Cherylese Horns got into an argument with another woman while armed with a knife, and when law enforcement arrived, she fled inside an apartment.
She was reportedly later seen walking in the area and fled on foot again, tossing drugs before being taken into custody.
Horns was arrested and charged with menacing, possession of synthetic drugs, tampering with physical evidence, and third-degree fleeing or evading police. She also had warrants for probation violation and non-payment of court costs.
