An Oak Grove man was charged with assault after an altercation on Shadow Ridge Avenue in Oak Grove Tuesday afternoon.
Oak Grove Police say 42-year-old Don Rodriguez hit the woman in the face several times and cut her with a knife the day before.
He was arrested and charged with second- and fourth-degree assault.
