
Two new dispatchers were welcomed to Christian County and Todd County after completing the academy on Wednesday.
The Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training announced Caley Nichols and Harley Brook Stokes have graduated from the Department of Criminal Justice Training Public Safety Academy along with 17 others.
Nichols will be starting as a dispatcher for the Hopkinsville Police Department, and Stokes is starting her career at Todd County Dispatch.
They received 164 hours of academy instructions that included radio procedures, handling of emergency and non-emergency calls, and using the state and national criminal databases.
