Larry Thomas Jackson, age 76, of Christian County, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025, at his home of natural causes.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Brother Eddie Mitchell officiating and burial to follow in New Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the service hour at 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mr. Jackson was born in Christian County, KY, on July 27, 1948, the son of the late Marvin and Pauline Wells Jackson. Larry worked in maintenance at Phelps Dodge for over 30 years. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Nola West Jackson in 2021.
Survivors include his son, Jeremy Jackson of Christian County; his stepsons, James “Jimmy” Crawford and his wife Susan of Hopkinsville, Allen Crawford and his wife Cindy of Christian County, Jonathan Crawford and his wife Kelly of Knoxville, TN; his thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Shiloh Baptist Church.
