Erwin “Ken” Vaughan, age 58, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, formerly of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Tri Star Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Born on July 21, 1966, in Macon, Georgia, he was the son of Douglas “Chappy” Vaughan and Jackie Haywood Glover.
Ken’s career in restaurant management spanned multiple states, including Georgia, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Most recently, he served as the General Manager at Bar Louie in Murfreesboro.
Ken attended Linton Methodist Church in Trigg County. His love for sports was evident in his enthusiasm for golfing and following various teams, but spending time with his family and friends brought him the most happiness.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Kelley Nye; and a grandchild, Ryan King.
Ken is survived by his wife, Terri Carpenter Vaughan of Cadiz; his children, Meagan Krahn (Eric), Brandon Vaughan, David King (Amber), Chase Vaughan, and Maci Rhye (John); his grandchildren, Waylon Rhye and Arabella, Elsa Grace, Ariel & Serenity King; his father and stepmother, Douglas “Chappy” & Celena Vaughan of Dublin, GA; his mother and stepfather, Jackie & David Glover of Hilton Head Island, SC; and his sister, Kristy Vaughan of Arizona.
Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date at Linton Methodist Church in Cadiz, Kentucky, as well as at Midway Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia.
Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz.
