Christian County Sees Improvements In Student Behavior

Several measures will focus on improving student behavior and classroom experiences in Christian County this coming school year. Director of Student Services, Dr. Kim Stevenson says programs like PBIS, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, are working.

Meanwhile, District Facilities Coordinator Trevor Herndon says his crew has been working hard this summer to renovate several buildings, including the Early Learning Center.

click to download audioRooms were also built on the Millbrooke Elementary School stage, new flooring was installed in several buildings, roofing projects were completed, and paint was refreshed.

The Christian County Board of Education voted to pay $4.5 million to contractors for the new Christian County High School project and to purchase the basketball goals for the new gym.
