The Trigg County High School Athletic Department hosted a “Day of Giving” campaign Wednesday.
Athletic Director Doug Gloyd shared that some of the goals include offering free admission to home games for youth and adults over the age of 65. Improvements include a new digital scorer’s table and new padding for the high school gymnasium, signage on the press box on the football field, updated signage at the soccer fields, roll-away goals for the soccer fields, and new track equipment, among others.
Funds for these projects are not provided by the board of education. One way to donate is by joining the Trigg County Legacy Club, an annual commitment to provide funds for continued upkeep.
In mid-June, the Cadiz Rotary Club approved a $30,000 matching donation for the “Day of Giving.”
Donate here or by visiting the Trigg County Co-Curricular Building by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
