A traffic stop on West 7th Street in Hopkinsville led to drug charges for a Morehead woman Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle for its license plate not being illuminated, and during the stop, suspected meth was found inside a purse in the vehicle after the driver, 64-year-old Kenneth Morris of Hopkinsville, gave consent for a search of the vehicle.
A passenger in the vehicle, 25-year-old Lauren Furgerson, was arrested and charged with possession of meth.
Morris was also arrested and charged with rear license plate not illuminated, operating on a suspended or revoked license, and resisting arrest.
