Trigg County officials are hoping to begin construction of a new county rescue building in the next few months.
Trigg County Judge Executive Stan Humphries says county officials are continuing to review plans that have been submitted for the project that will be funded by a state grant.
Humphries says they are hoping to have construction well underway soon.
He adds the old building located on US 68 west will be sold once the new building is completed.
The new Trigg County Rescue headquarters will be located in front of the Trigg County road garage and the county recycling center along Business 68 near Cadiz.
