Jeannine B. “Nanny” Allen, 87, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, died at 11:15 a.m., Friday, July 11, 2025, at her residence in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with Chaplain Reed Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in Pennington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

A native of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, she was born on December 2, 1938, the daughter of the late G.T. Berry and Sally Fuller Berry. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Wendell L. “Deadbolt” Allen, and her son, Tommy Allen.
She was a member of Crofton Baptist Church and co-owned and operated Allen’s Lock & Key.
Survivors include her son, Steve Allen of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; granddaughter, Brittany A. (Eric) Byrum; and great-grandchildren, Preston Quick, Chayse Ann Gilliland, and James Byrum.
