Jacqueline “Jacqui” Prowell Morris, age 64, of Hopkinsville and formerly of Marion, KY, passed away at Tri Star Skyline Hospital in Nashville, TN, at 4:00 pm Tuesday July 8, 2025.
Jacqui was born on July 15, 1960, in Caldwell County to her late father, Wayne Allen and mother, Linda Prowell. Jacqui graduated from Caldwell County High School and Madisonville Community College
Jacqui was a Respiratory Therapist and Eco Sonographer at Crittenden County Hospital, Caldwell County Hospital, Dr. Hall’s office and Jennie Stuart Hospital. Jacqui loved every patient she treated and every person she met.
An avid gardener, Jacqui raised many varieties of plants and flowers and took great pleasure in sharing them with others. She loved planting and nurturing trees to healthy growth. Hopkinsville/Christian County Library was her heaven and she was known to be reading multiple books at any time.
Jacqui loved being a Daughter, Mom and Momma Jacq to 13 grandchildren. She was a proud Momma to two Labradoodles. She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Pat Morris, Sr. of Hopkinsville, mother, Linda Prowell of Fredonia; daughter, Vanda (Chuck) Adamson of Marion; sons, Cody (Megan) Hunt of Marion, Pat (Kristin) Morris, Jr., of Hopkinsville, Tommy (Mandi) Morris of Louisville; brother, Matt (Angie) Prowell of Fredonia; sister, Dorinda (Mack) Workman of Paducah; grandchildren, Hayden Adamson, of Marion, Gage Adamson, of Marion, Raven Adamson, of Morganfield, Chloe Hunt, of Marion, Kiley Hunt, of Marion, Cutler Hunt, of Marion, Lt. Matthew (Makayla) Morris, of Dayton, OH, Mara Morris, of Louisville, Noah Morris, of Murray, Riley Simpson Morris of Hopkinsville, Bradley Simpson Morris of Hopkinsville, Andrew Simpson Morris of Hopkinsville, Trent Simpson Morris, of Hopkinsville.
Jacqui was preceded in death by her father Wayne Allen Prowell; maternal grandparents, Jim and Carlton Blackburn; paternal grandparents, A. O. and Mary Prowell.
Visitation for Jacqui Morris will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Morgan’s Funeral Home and from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Dean Ray and Bro. Mark Faughn officiating. Burial will follow in Rowland Cemetery in Caldwell County.
