A wreck on Interstate 169 in Christian County severely injured a man Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a vehicle was southbound at the 20-mile marker of Interstate 169 when a medical problem caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle and it to run off the road.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says the driver was severely injured and was taken by ambulance with CPR in progress to Jennie Stuart Health then flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
A woman and child in the vehicle were also reportedly checked out by Hopkinsville EMS with one of them also being taken to Jennie Stuart Health for treatment.
