A house fire on Locust Grove Road badly damaged a home and displaced the family Wednesday morning.
Herndon Firefighter Andrew Watts says they were called for a kitchen fire and found the single-wide mobile home on fire.
The fire was contained to the kitchen but due to the damage the family will be temporarily displaced.
Watts says Oak Grove Fire Department was also called to help in extinguishing the fire.
