Linda Carol Cansler, 72, of Crofton, KY, died at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton with Barney Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgetop Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Windsor, VT she was born November 15, 1952, the daughter of the late Lester Leon Jones and Katherine Madeline Stone Jones. She retired as Blood Bank Supervisor from Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, now Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville. She enjoyed playing strategy games on her iPad, painting, and reading books.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Durrell.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years: Norris Edsel Cansler; and her sons: Barry Cansler of Husdon, FL, Scott (Stephanie) Cansler of Crofton, KY and Jamie (Heather) Cansler of Hopkinsville, KY; and her grandchildren: Kelsea Cansler Graves, Lynslee Cansler and Brant Cansler; and her great-grandchild: Mollie Rae Graves; and her four nephews and two nieces.
