Mrs. Alma Hoover, age 77 of Hopkinsville, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025, at her residence.
Services will be 9:30 a.m., Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Fairview Mennonite Church, 653 Roger Q. Mill Rd., Pembroke, KY 42266. The burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at the Hoover Residence, 7270 US 68 East, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
Mrs. Hoover was born November 9, 1947, in New Holland, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos W. and Lydia N. Hoover, her husband, Henry M. Hoover, her sons, Clarence Hoover and David Hoover, and her brothers, Daniel Hoover and Amos Hoover.
Survivors include her children, Luke Hoover and his wife Esther of Hopkinsville, Lucy Hoover and her husband Daniel of Hopkinsville, Beatrice Hoover and her husband Amos of Pembroke, Adin Hoover and his wife Jane of Trenton, Phares Hoover and his wife Florence of Pennsylvania, Chris Hoover and his wife Mary of Pembroke, Henry Hoover and his wife Lovina of Trenton, Arlene Martin and her husband Alvin of Hopkinsville, Reuben Hoover and his wife Rhoda of Hopkinsville, Lydia Martin and her husband Daniel of Trenton, Jonathan Hoover and his wife Luella of Trenton, Chester Hoover of Elkton, Leroy Hoover and his wife Louise of Pembroke, Mahlon Hoover and his wife Loretta of Hopkinsville, Alma Martin and her husband Daniel of Elkton, her brothers, Isaac Hoover, James Hoover, Jonas Hoover, Paul Hoover, Leon Hoover, Lloyd Hoover, Lester Hoover all of Pennsylvania and John Hoover of Elkton, her sisters, Ada Rieff, Emma Martin, Mary Hoover, Lydia Hoover, Linda Hoover all of Pennsylvania and Martha Hoover of Hopkinsville, 140 grandchildren and 218 great grandchildren.
