An Auburn man was charged with trafficking drugs after a welfare check on Winners Way in Oak Grove Wednesday morning.
Oak Grove Police say they got out with 43-year-old David McAlister after he was seen not moving with his head on his steering wheel.
During the stop, he reportedly admitted to having Amphetamine pills in his pocket and a straw in the vehicle used to snort drugs.
Police say he claimed he was at the location with his wife for 8 hours, but the woman said she was just an acquaintance of his.
McAlister was arrested and charged with trafficking Amphetamine, tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, and prescription controlled substance not in proper container.
