Equipment failure is blamed for starting a fire that damaged a building on Butler Road Wednesday afternoon.
Honey Grove Fire Department Chief Jeff Latham says they were called to Hoover’s Shavings for a conveyor bearing that went out, causing surrounding dust to ignite and leading to minor damage to the building.
No one was injured in the fire. Honey Grove firefighters were assisted by the Highland Fire Department.
